I joined the Learning Development Department at Coombe Girls’ School in 2022 and have loved every minute since. I am passionate about helping our students achieve their best and enjoy their time at secondary school!
I have been working at Coombe since 2015. I came as a History Teacher in charge of Politics and then became Head of History and Politics. In 2023, I became an Assistant Headteacher and Head of Sixth Form. I have had the great opportunity to experience being a curriculum lead as Head of History and a pastoral lead as Head of Sixth Form.
Moving into the Sixth Form has given me the opportunity to work with a much wider range of students and I have really enjoyed getting to know and work with such a diverse, inspiring group of young people.
The most rewarding part of my role is seeing the journey that our sixth formers go on from year 12 to getting fantastic results and going off to incredible future pathways - whether it be university or apprenticeships.
Our sixth formers show so much ambition and resilience during their time with us and I am so proud of the results our year 13s achieve and of the exciting destinations they go off to.
